Experience

Alameda County Children and Family Services, Child Welfare Supervisor 1989 - 2011.

Dependency (Court) Investigations, Family Preservation and Family Maintenance. Senior supervisor and trainer for court investigations. Facilitated Team Decision Making meetings to resolve family issues with goal of least intrusive county intervention while providing child safety. Provided direct crisis intervention and court intervention as needed. Established Intake Family Preservation Program with 86% non-recidivism rate after 12 months. Provided community education and developed collaborative relationships with other agencies.
